We’re thrilled to share some exciting news—Masters Wholesale now carries water heaters! After years of helping customers find the perfect kitchen and laundry appliances, we’re expanding to meet more of your home needs.
Many of you have asked us about water heaters over the years, especially when renovating entire homes or dealing with unexpected replacements. We listened, and we’re proud to offer the same competitive pricing and trusted service you’ve come to expect from us. To celebrate this launch, we’re offering exclusive savings of up to $200 on select models.
Why We’re Adding Water Heaters
The decision to add water heaters felt natural. So many customers have told us they wish they could buy all their major appliances from one trusted source. When you’re already saving hundreds on a new kitchen suite, why not extend those savings to other essential home equipment?
We’ve partnered with GE to start, a brand we know delivers reliable performance at fair prices. Just like with our kitchen appliances, we’ve negotiated directly with manufacturers to bring you genuine products with full warranties at prices that beat the big box stores.
What really sealed the deal was hearing from contractors and property managers who already buy appliances from us. They needed a reliable source for water heaters with transparent pricing and dependable delivery. Now they have one.
What’s Available Right Now
We’re launching with six carefully selected GE water heater models that cover most household needs. Let’s break them down by type to help you understand what might work for your home.
Electric Water Heaters
We currently offer one electric model—the GE 50 Gallon Electric Water Heater (GE50S08BAM). At $499 (originally $599), it’s an excellent choice for homes without gas lines. Electric water heaters are simpler to install and don’t require venting, making them ideal for condos, apartments, or homes where running a gas line would be expensive.
Standard Gas Water Heaters
For homes with natural gas, we have the GE 50 Gallon Natural Gas Water Heater (GG50S08BXR) at $639 (originally $739). Gas water heaters typically cost less to operate than electric models, especially in areas with lower natural gas prices. They also heat water faster, which means less waiting time between showers for larger families.
Power Vent Gas Water Heaters
This is where things get interesting. We carry four GE RealMAX® Choice power vent models, available in both 40 and 50-gallon sizes, and both short and tall configurations:
Model | Capacity | Height | Price | Original Price |
---|---|---|---|---|
40 Gallon | Short | $1,099 | $1,299 | |
40 Gallon | Tall | $1,199 | $1,399 | |
50 Gallon | Short | $1,199 | $1,399 | |
50 Gallon | Tall | $1,299 | $1,499 |
Power vent water heaters use a fan to push exhaust gases out through PVC pipe instead of relying on a traditional chimney. This technology offers several advantages—you can install them in spaces without vertical venting access, like basements with finished ceilings. They’re also more efficient because they don’t lose heat up a chimney when the unit isn’t running.
The choice between short and tall models usually comes down to your available space. Short models fit better in crawl spaces or utility closets with low ceilings, while tall models have a smaller footprint if floor space is your constraint.
Our Water Heater Promise
When you buy a water heater from Masters Wholesale, you get the same benefits that have made us a trusted name in appliances. Every water heater comes with the manufacturer’s full warranty—we only sell genuine, brand-new products directly from GE. No gray market units, no stripped warranties, no surprises.
We coordinate delivery just like we do with our appliances. Our delivery partners understand that water heaters often need to go into tight spaces, and they’ll work with you to schedule a convenient time. While we don’t currently offer installation, we’re developing a network of qualified plumbers who can help. In the meantime, most local plumbers are happy to install units purchased elsewhere, especially when you’re saving this much money.
Our customer service team is learning the ins and outs of water heaters just as thoroughly as they know dishwashers and refrigerators. They can help you determine the right size for your household and explain the differences between models. And yes, our price match guarantee applies to water heaters too.
What’s Coming Next
This GE lineup is just the beginning. We’re in discussions with other manufacturers to bring you more options, including tankless models and high-efficiency units. We’re particularly excited about adding water treatment systems—softeners, filters, and purification systems that complement your new water heater.
We’re also exploring ways to make the buying process even easier. This might include virtual consultations to help you choose the right model, or partnerships with local installers who can provide upfront pricing for complete installation.
Making the Most of Our Launch
Right now is an excellent time to replace an aging water heater. With savings up to $200, you’re getting prices we might not be able to maintain long-term. If your current water heater is more than 10 years old, it’s worth considering a replacement before it fails unexpectedly. There’s nothing worse than dealing with a water heater emergency on a holiday weekend.
For those building new homes or doing major renovations, consider bundling a water heater with your kitchen appliances. While we don’t have formal bundle pricing for water heaters yet, our sales team can often find additional savings when you’re making a large purchase.
Visit our new water heater section to see all available models and current pricing. As always, we’re here to help you find the right appliance for your home at a price that makes sense.
